Pramipexole in Treatment Resistant Depression: A Case Review

چکیده

Pramipexole is a dopamine agonist used in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and Restless legs syndrome. Although off-label, use as an adjunct therapy resistant depression has recently been documented literature with promising results. We present 75-year-old male MDD who failed trials SSRIs, SNRIs, TCAs, SGA, TMS, Ketamine, ECT was initiated on Pramipexole. discuss, based existing literature, probability favorable long-term response to potential side effects for our patient. also highlight need future studies designed test efficacy geriatric patients TRD.
